Star Spirits

The sun rises in the east,
bringing life to Mother Earth.
A new day begins,revealing the
new and the past.
What takes my heart?
Knowledge of ancestral spirits.
I have known this before, I
feel this spirit again.
It is good to have the past
here in the present.
To know that we are our
ancestors,
given a spirit to live in
this day.
The sun sets in the west.
The blanket slowly opens.
The spirit of our ancestors
have touched,
now they leave,hidden in
the heart.
For it is the way of the Creator.
